In my third year, I took a course called Literacy in the Early Years (Course code: CLD 314). There were two blog posts that were created: one that discussed online resources for educators and a book review (The link for my class' blog will be provided below!).  For the online resource, I discussed Reading Rockets as a useful tool for educators to support and facilitate development of phonological awareness through rhyming activities and videos from experts! In my second blog post, I discussed a wonderful book called In My World, which embodied and encompassed the importance of inclusion of children with exceptionalities, specifically addressing children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This book provided a foundation for creating an activity that would be excellent in teaching children about inclusion by respecting others for their differences and to support various needs.
