Observations around scientific investigation among the children reflect interest in light. Children are often captivated by the lighted bubbles within the Snoezelen tent or have been shining flashlights around their eye. To extend this interest, this activity required the children to use water-ed down glue to attach coloured tissue paper onto clear plastic frames. The process of creating these frames were important for the children to exercise their fine motor abilities through tool use and pincer grasping. Moreover, exposure to soft, wet and cold textures through the glue and paper were important for the sensory-sensitive children.
