Following the first activity, the children had the opportunity to put together two pizzas based on their preferences. Using the list of toppings that the children prefer on their pizza, the children were able to cut pieces of their toppings into smaller pieces, roll out the pizza dough flat, and put on all the toppings. After they put together the pizza, the pizza baked and was served during their snack time to their peers. This activity was documented as part of the children's daily diary for parents!

Learning Objectives & Outcomes:
The objectives of this activity are for the children to use their senses to taste and smell different flavours and textures. By doing so, the children are exploring and discriminating different senses that pertain to the ingredients used for the pizza.
The outcomes of this activity are for the children to enhance the children's fine motor skills when rolling the dough, cutting the vegetables and putting the pizza together

Reflection & Outcome
When implementing this activity, I found that supplying the ingredients in steps allowed for regulation of the activity. The children were able to remain focused and engaged and were very eager to proceed to putting the pizza together. By giving each child a chance to contribute to putting the pizza together, the children seemed to have felt a sense of pride and excitement with sharing the pizza with the other children and trying out what they have tasted. The children loved their pizzas and were excited to share it with their friends!
