Pick, Sort, Drop!

In this activity, children sorted colour pompoms by picking a specific colour and dropping the pompom in the corresponding tube. The activity's expectations catered to many children's learning needs, such as the title was used for a child who needed support in self regulation, therefore the title helped him understand what was expected in the task. The purpose of picking pompoms was for some children to utilize their fine motor skills, and the material of the pompoms was for those who were sensitive to textiles.

This activity was a great way to accommodate every child's needs through the use of purposeful choice in materials and presentation!
